Veronica Smith

It is a great day to be a Canton High School Tiger!

My name is Veronica Smith, and I am the School Counselor for students in grades 10-12 at Canton High School. This is my second year at CHS, my eighth year with the Canton Public School District, and my 18th year in education.

I am dedicated to supporting students' academic, social, and emotional success while helping them navigate their high school years. My goal is to encourage, support, and empower every student to reach their full potential.

I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a minor in Business Education from Grambling State University and a Master's degree in School Counseling from Alcorn State University. As a proud member of a family of educators, I consider this work my calling.
