Assistant Principal

Yotunga Grant serves as Assistant Principal at Canton High School, where she is committed to creating a positive, student-centered learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth. With experience as both a high school and middle school assistant principal, as well as a former teacher, she brings a strong background in instructional leadership, teacher development, student support, and school operations.

Mrs. Grant holds a Specialist in Education (Ed.S.) in Educational Administration and Supervision from Jackson State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Tougaloo College. She is licensed as a Mississippi Administrator and certified teacher.  Passionate about supporting students, staff, and families, Mrs. Grant is dedicated to fostering a school culture where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
